Tomas Therén

In 2022, I joined Vaaka Partners as a non-executive Director, and in 2024 I joined the team full-time as a Partner, to lead our establishment on the Swedish market. Prior to this, I have for 25 years worked in the private equity industry, mainly focusing on the lower mid-market, including 18 years at Procuritas. During my years in the private equity industry I have worked with more than 20 companies. I am also a member of the board of Almi AB, the Swedish Government owned company focusing on the SME segment.

I have an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University, an LL.M. from Stockholm University, a B.A. in Political Science from Stockholm University and an M.Sc. in Globalisation, Environmental and Social Change from Stockholm University.
