Vaaka Partners strengthens team: Mr. Ville Koskenvuo, previously with EQT, to join as a Partner
Vaaka Partners has made an important recruitment to strengthen its investment team – Mr. Ville Koskenvuo is nominated Partner and comes from the global private equity firm EQT. Ville will start at Vaaka Partners on the 1st of November and will become deal responsible Partner with an emphasis on supporting the international growth of Vaaka Partners’ companies.
Before joining Vaaka Partners, Ville has been Director at EQT’s Equity team starting in 2007. At EQT, Ville has worked with a number of companies in Finland, rest of Europe and the US as a deal team member and in the Board of Directors. Ville started his career at Citigroup’s investment banking division in London. Ville Koskenvuo holds a M.Sc. (Tech.) degree from Helsinki University of Technology.

Vaaka Partners has also recruited Ms. Lotta Martikainen as a junior investment professional. Before joining Vaaka Partners, Lotta was with the local investment bank Merasco since 2015. Lotta also has operational experience from the industry during her studies as Business Development Trainee at Siemens and as Production Analyst at Orion Corporation. She holds a M.Sc. (Tech.) degree from Helsinki University of Technology.
