Musti ja Mirri – Winner of the FVCA Growth Builder of the Year Award

Musti ja Mirri has won the Growth Builder of the Year –award in the competition arranged by the Finnish Venture Capital Association (FVCA).

The aim of the competition was to find the most exciting portfolio company story that best exhibits the systematic way private equity investors build growth in their portfolio companies together with the company management. The competition was conducted by first scanning through the fastest growing portfolio companies of Finnish private equity investors. In the second phase, FVCA personnel interviewed 11 companies and then selected three companies to the final. The jury of the final consisted of Mr. Anssi Vanjoki (LUT), chairman of the jury, Kurt Björklund (Permira) and Anna Maria Sipilä (Helsingin Sanomat).

The jury selected Musti ja Mirri as the winner because of it’s unique growth story taking a Finnish retail concept international. Musti ja Mirri’s vision is to be the leading Northern European pet specialty retailer.
